Parents can click on the schedule tab in their IC Portal account and it will display Virtual or nothing if they are at home that day.
Check out the Today screen to see if your student is physical or virtual today. A Virtual tag displays at the top of the schedule on days the student is attending virtually.
There is a rotation calendar that you can view as well. To check another day, go to the calendar screen, click Schedule and click a day in the calendar to see if your student is attending in school or virtually that day.
Click the link below to see a calendar of your Cohort... make sure to go down to the purple bar that says COHORT ROTATION CALENDAR.

rEGISTRATION NEWS....
Greetings from PWL! It's hard to believe that your 8th grader is in his/her final semester of middle school. Wow! During this time every year, we meet with all of our 8th graders and at least one of their guardians for a 30 minute slot of time to go over the four year plan for high school as well as answer questions about classes and high school expectations. These meetings are mandatory for both the 8th grader and at least one guardian to attend. We've always enjoyed meeting with 8th grade students and families in our offices, but due to COVID safety protocols, all of our meetings will be held virtually this year during your student's virtual day so that we don't have to pull them from physical class time. You will be receiving an email from Sign-Up Genius to sign up for a date and time during the last week of January through the first week of February. Please review the below To-Do List to be prepared for the 8th grade transition meeting:
- MOST IMPORTANT: ensure that you can log in to Infinite Campus using your Parent Portal. During the meeting, you will be asked to review your student's plan on Infinite Campus, and that CANNOT happen unless you are on your Parent Portal. Guardians logging in with their student's username and password will not suffice. If you cannot remember your username/password or have not yet set up a Parent Portal, please call the school at 775-265-6100.
- Sign up for a date and time that works for both you and your student to join either a Google Meet or a phone conference during one of your student's virtual days. To join a Google Meet, you have to have the Google Meet App downloaded. If that doesn't work for you, please sign up for a phone conference when you sign up for a time/date in Sign-Up Genius.
- Please click the Douglas High School Registration Site to look at classes and information for incoming freshmen.
- In the next few days, be on the lookout for an email from Sign-Up Genius to sign up for a time and a date for the 8th grade transition meeting.

Please email counselors Katie Emm at kemm@dcsd.k12.nv.us or Mike Arraiz at marraiz@dcsd.k12.nv.us if you have any questions. Thank you!
THANK YOU! to all of our PWL Virtual Talent Show participants. We know that a talent show in this capacity can be a bit different, so we REALLY appreciate the opportunity to see our students shine.
