DCSD students participating in the Young Author program are being celebrated for their creativity and storytelling—so much so that the program was recently featured on the front page of The Record-Courier! Read the Article.
On Monday, May 5, 24 National Junior Honor Society students from Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School had the opportunity to visit the 82nd Nevada State Legislature. As part of the trip, students toured the historic building, met with State Senator Robin Titus, and were formally introduced on the Assembly floor by Assemblyman Ken Gray.
For the first time ever, Nevada has been selected to provide the 2025 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree—and SES students are helping decorate it.
